Form A Weekly Blog Prompt
Each week student groups will be responsible for responding to the blog prompt on their own blog created on www.wordpress.com. This will mark their progress through the LEGO NXT Mindstorms curriculum.
5/27-6/2 Weekly Blog Prompt
Write about one experience, lesson, or lab that you did this year in science class that you never want to forget about...ever. It does not have to be about LEGO Robotics but it could. Make sure you include as much detail in your story so that you will be able to remember it at your 50th St. Albans reunion. "I remember way back when I was in A Form we did this really cool thing in science class..." Each member has to post. Minimum 200 words.

Field Day Event for Robots Again
Design an event for the LEGO Domabot to compete in against other robots. Name your event and write out the rules including how a robot will be deemed the winner, 2nd place, 3rd place etc. Specify if it is an event that all the robots compete in at once or individually. Be sure to include what sensors and LEGO pieces are to be allowed and not allowed in the competition. Also include what actions by the robot would make it disqualified from the competition. Be as specific as possible. The best event blog post from the class will be chosen for the robots to compete in on the final day of robots, May 31st.

You could discuss completing a certain task, working hard through a certain problem and finally coming up with the solution, or anything else that was awesome about your robot this week. For your blog this week each member of your team needs to upload their Science fair project presentation and write a minimum 100 word reflection on what they still need to do for their science fair project to get it ready for Wednesday, April 24th.

3/18-3/24 Weekly Blog Prompt
All robots need to have programs to make them run. The easiest way to start a program is to firstly have a plan. This plan consists of a flowchart of small steps that make up the entire program. Each step is simple enough that the robot can perform it without too much effort.
